Betty, Shawn, Derek, Heidi, Taylor, Brittany & Sharon & Scott:
We were so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. My Uncle, Father Greg, will be saying a Mass in celebration of Carl's life. Know that Carl's suffering is over now and he is gone ahead to prepare a place for all of you in Heaven. He will be your own personal guardian angel and will watch over each of you until you are together once more. When you and Heidi decided to join our two families Derek, I thought that I really lucked out because your Dad and Mom were so wonderful to Heidi. Both of our mutual grand daughters were the light of his eyes and he really loved them and wanted to spend time with them. I could not have asked for a better father-in-law for you Heidi and you have a wonderful mother-in-law also. Carl will be missed but your memories will keep him alive in your hearts., We were so honored to have spent last Christmas and New Year's with all of you. We love you all and will see you soon.

Carl, you were a great man. I thoroughly enjoyed the time that we worked together and our conversations that we had after we both went in different directions after that. Always a smile on your face, and I don't think I ever heard you utter a bad word about anything. Always looked forward to having a chat with you and you calling me "young feller". Too young to be gone but you are now at peace. I will miss you my friend. Sing and dance with the angels now because I'm sure there was a place reserved for you up there. See you on the other side! 😔
