As a graduate student, starting in 1967 at UNB, I always enjoyed interacting with Dr. Moreland in the Department. Privately, Gerdy and I enjoyed many fine times with the Moreland Family at their home. So sorry to hear about his illness and recent passing. Our sincere condolences to his family, in particular to Valery. Jacques and Gerdy Aarts, Edmonton AB

Professor Charles Moreland was one of my great professors in Chemical Engineering at UNB Fredericton and I have learnt a lot from him. He was also one of the examiners of my PhD Thesis in Chemical Engineering. Living in Alberta and also in self-isolation during this pandemic, I became aware of dear Chuck Moreland's passing only today. I am very saddened by this news and It is a great loss to his dear family and friends. My sincere condolences to Prof. Moreland's family. He was a great man and may his soul rest in peace.
