The Class of UNB Forestry '52. In 1948, through a mutual acquaintance we discovered we were both enrolled for 4 years of forestry at UNB. On the train trip to Freddy we got acquainted, as we were booked to room together in the infamous Alexander College. It was the beginning of a life long friendship. We had some great times, (our first exposure to Moosehead) , lots of work, and left for our new forestry careers. Over the years we kept in touch along with some of the other "foresters" and always made reunions if possible, often bunking in with Mary and Bob.. On occasion we would encounter each other at forestry meetings which produced some great conversations. On retirement we started somewhat regular phone calls, often to discuss one or other of our departed class mates or our state of health.. I shall miss these connections. We were also planning to make the 70th graduation reunion for Forestry 52, but it is obvious few of us will be around for that event. So long Bob.
