To Angie's beautiful children and to the many who worshiped her. I have known Dr. McGibbon through her great work and stood by her as she explained difficult and sometimes wonderful news. She delivered both with great dignity and humility, but especially with grace. What an amazing sole she has been. I am certain that I do not have the right words to comfort you at this time. But permit me to share this thought. In admitting that I may not help you to grieve, allow me to help you celebrate instead. I will share with you a great quote by Leo Tolstoy relating to understanding death, but especially the death of the young, and of the gifted. Angie was both.
Tolstoy said: " who are we to question where the period should go in the sentence. It must always come at the end of it.''for me in my experience, it may be best to understand that Angie's life was as full and complete as it needed to be. The rest is up to those of you who live on. And I am very sorry for your loss.
"As robust and full of life as this angel is and has been, so too she will always be. Denise Mazerolle former Horizon social worker."

Jared, Susan, Frances and your families:
My heart goes out to you as you face this tragedy. It brings me to when I lost my father Paul Chiasson (49) in a coal mining accident in Cape Breton. I was 24, my sister 22, my little brothers, 7, 8, 11, and 14. We are now 76, 73, brothers 59, 60, 63 and 66. Angela will never be alone, a piece of you all will go with her.

Angie will be sadly missed by the nurse in CCU. She was such a great person, friend, and last doctor. I have learned so much from her over my years of working with her. Always enjoyed hearing about her great children and where there lives was taking them. Those long night shifts were always make to go by quickly with good food we shared and the many story she would tell or the private teach lesson she would give. She always make you feel like a part of her team.
Sadly missed.
