When I heard of Mr. RYAN'S passing my eyes got watery. What amazed me was his dedication to the students of DCHS. Here was a man that wasn't married, with no kids of his own, put so much of his own personal time towards DCHS sports. It's been over 30 years sense I last seen Joe, and when I heard he got married, I smiled. It's funny, even though Mr. Ryan was a great teacher & coach, I remember Joe Dancing. How that man love to Dance! I'm sure he danced his way in to Heaven. RiP Joe & thank you

I met Joe when I was just getting started in curling. Always friendly, and smiling Joe always stood out as one of those to treat us young curlers the same as the vets.

I am sorry to hear of his passing but know he’s gone on to a better place. You will be missed Joe. Rest In Peace.

My prayers are with the family at this time. I was one of Joe Joe's nurses at York Care. I will miss his smile dearly. I made sure when I was taking care of Joe in his last fe days that he wore his bright red UNB hat and the tv was on the spirts channel.
