So sad to read of dear little Lenny's passing in the paper.
Remembering all the times we were snowmobiling from the farm up country. Remembering the time Doreen Mitton made the hugh pizza, enought for everyone. Remembering the time I thought I smelled rope burning, but I couldn't find the burning rope. Remembering the time someones ski on their snowmobile hit Little Lenny's leg and broke it.
That was before I moved out West, so was 38 years ago. And of course my dear friends, Leonard and Shirley were always there too. How I miss them! I would love to pop in and have a cuppa coffee with them and reminise about the great times we had.
I remember one time I was appointed desinagated driver. Doreen; Shirley and I all in the front sear of my car. Those two ladies, my good friends, took their dentures out and sang,
" Show me the way to home, " I sure do miss them.
