Quite a shock is an understatement. An immeasurable loss is an even bigger understatement! Rick, a dear member of my (sitcom, cyber, adopted) family will be so sadly and greatly missed - beyond words. His witty one liners in all of his interactions cracked me up during every visit (thus the sitcom family) . From his hand in the delicious meals over all of the holidays they extended to include me in (my adopted family) , to his wonderful presence at the lake in the summers, to his greetings when I was on their iPad in their living room and kitchen, and them on my laptop (cyber family) . Rick made feel as if I was always welcomed and belonged there. Such a soft gentle soul. My heart goes out to Christa and the girls: Katy, Madeline, Amelia and Olivia. His love for all of his girls radiated. I cannot imagine the weight of the grief and loss they hold. May all of you find comfort amongst family and friends during this incredibly difficult time and in the journey ahead. May you forever keep his spirit, and his memories alive in your hearts forever. Rick will be sadly missed by many. I am so very fortunate Christa that you have not only shared your amazing and wonderful friendship with me, but your whole family as well!
