I am one of the many former students who knew this remarkable lady as 'Miss B'. She was much more than an instructor or head of the school program. She was a caring mentor who always had an open door policy and was always interested in what was happening in our lives. When I house sat for someone for two weeks, Miss B and Esther picked me up in the morning and drove me to school and dropped me off in the evening. She visited me when I was ill in the hospital. When my father passed away, she and Esther booked my flight home. She wrote a letter of condolence to my mother.
Miss B had many words of wisdom but one that I recall especially was: " No job is too small unless you think you are too big to do it". That was Miss B, doing the big and small things and making a huge difference in the lives of those who knew her.
