Many days we spent together we walked to school together, we lived next door to each other, i think i spent more time at Helens house than i did at home, we had many great days together her grandfather would take the horse to the woods and each time he unhooked the horse from the logs the horse ran to the barn, we would get on the horses back and take him back to the woods, this would be 6 or 7 times a day. we enjoyed cutting turnip in the turnip pulper and eating it, we would sneak the square yeast cakes out of the fridge and eat them, we enjoyed teasing ed and bertha, we bicyled to cedar camp every sundy to Helens grand parents after supper we would bicycle back to plumweseep, in the winter we sled on yhe side hill sometimes till midnight, and skated when the brook froze over, and had a bomb fire with tires till midnight, we were never in the house we enjoyed the out doors when her grandfather would go to all the fall fairs we went to always enjoying popcorn and cotton candy sam would buy for us, we woud steal eggs out of the hen house just to throw at ed, we had a great friendship i could go on and on, i will miss my friend we had alot of good times we even enjoyed double dating as we grew up but thats confidental cannot tell stories out of school, to her family i, m sad, god love her, i will alway remember our great friendship we had right till the end, she kept a smile on her face when i visited her i love you Helen and i will surely miss you my friend, Jean Baskin
