To Betty's family. I'm Carol Church, Marion Bridge, Cape Breton, (Cookie when I was growing up) . Betty is my cousin (our mothers, Doris and Margaret (Hawley) are step-sisters) . I'm deeply saddened by these events. I want you to know that we, Betty's "Ingonish" families are truly sorry for your loss, and send condolences from each and every cousin here in Cape Breton, and there are many, the Hawleys, Robinsons, Dunphys, Barrons, Peace be with you.

I was very saddened when I heard of Betty's passing. She was a childhood friend whose friendship I cherished. I'll always remember her laugh & all the fun things we did throughout our school years & work years. My thoughts & prayers are with you. She will be missed but never forgotten.
