Fred and I were born on April 29 but he was 6 years older than me. I used to kid him about being older than me especially later in life.

I am proud to say he was my friend and I will truly miss him

I remember Fred used to sell seeds for plants. I learned to ride a bike owned by Fred in 1953. He used build the fire in the winter time down at the old Gordonsville school house. He used cut wood with his dad for the winter. Fred always had lots of wood cut for himself in the winter time. I used to tease him about it.

He used to split wood for my grandparents. The last time I was with Fred was last summer we went to visit his cousin in Greenfield. Fred was a great friend for over 70 years. I will truly miss him

Fred was a friend since 1946. We used slide down the hill to the bridge. We used to sleep in the hay mow.. We were both on April 29th. I left N.B in 1959 but I always kept in touch with Fred. I truly miss him he will always be my friend
