Vernon and I were classmates at Bristol High School.
Vernon was about 6 weeks younger than me.
We were long time friends.
Vernon was a retiree from CP Rail, that was run through Bristol around 1897.
I got to visit him several times over the years to talk about Bristol history.
I went to visit him at the Hospital on Saturday the 14th of April.
His mother saved me from DROWNING at a Sunday School Picknic around 1939
