Both myself and Maria were very saddened to hear of Mert's passing. We were all members of the St. James legion No. 4 Over 55 Whist Club and thoroughly enjoyed Mert as a fellow member. she was a beautiful personality with an amazing zest for life and we all had a lot of fun together. She regaled us with her "bucket list" exploits of her sky diving and glider flight! she was one of those amazing people who seem to be larger than life in her quiet, special way. We miss her now and will miss her even more when we resume club whist playing in September. On behalf of the over 55 Whist Club we offer our condolences to the family.
