Late in the evening, seeing Uncle Forrie, frying up slices of fresh green tomato for a bed time snack. His comment was nothing like enjoying a fresh green tomato sandwich to top off the day.

A lot of times when visiting, as dusk was coming, Uncle Forrie would say 'let's go for a ride'. Taking us on a tour around Killarney lake and the country side to see if we could see any deer popping out of the woods.

When I was young visiting Killarney, I would go with Uncle Forrie to be with him, on a drive out to a farmer's fields where he would pick up a load of grain. Always amazed seeing Uncle Forrie making himself a 'rollie cig'while driving. Always had a fun time being in Killarney visiting my cousins. Love you both.
