Irene. my dear dear friend, for over 60 years. I will miss our wonderfull telephone calls over the years. My yearly visits for the past five years were filled with many hours of watching Netflix, from your bed. We laughed, remembering our times we spent together growing up. You, playing the violin. and me on my cello playing duet for the school. (we were awful.) Our attempts making clothes, and walking down Grant Avenue, counting how many cars honked at us!
I'll treasure all my beautiful sweaters, golf covers, shawls and hats you knitted for me.
Thank you for hanging on, waiting for me to see you, so I could say goodbye. and tell you, I love u.
