December 10, 1943- December 27, 2022 (Age 79)

Born in Vancouver BC to Allan and Evelyn Forbes Dec 10, 1943, Rob passed away in Penticton Regional Hospital Dec 27, 2022, due to numerous health conditions. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Short and her daughter's Kachina and Awna Teixeira.

Having inherited his Scottish Grandfather's (John Forbes born 1871-1936 in Cluny Aberdeenshire) love of travel and his knack for learning languages, Rob made friends easily wherever he went. His travels took him to many countries and to build his second home in Mexico making life-long friends throughout the world.

Throughout his life Rob wore many hats, beginning his working career in 1962 as a Jr. Accountant for Empire Shipping Co. and finishing it as a Certified Trades Painter with School District No. 67 in 2008.

Very special thank you goes out to all of the doctors, nurses, medical and pharmaceutical staff who assisted him on his journey.
