Mrs Mitchell worked at Crown Zellerbach at the same time as my mom when she was still "Miss Corr", and they became and stayed friends until she left the company. My mom had her over for dinner I think. I know she was out at our house at least once and I really liked her. I think the two women wrote back and forth because my mom became aware that she had married and became stepmother to four boys, and loved them. I also was in contact with her for a while, exchanged letters and then emails once I got a computer. Then I somehow lost her email address and contact with her. I'm sorry to hear she's gone but very glad to have somewhat known her. Condolences to her family.
