Mr Middle was my English teacher at KSS high school in 1968. He was so patient with my lack of enthusiasm with school, but recognized my English talent. Years later, my ex husband, Charlie Hodge, and I had the pleasure of getting to know him better. My condolences to his family and am saddened by his passing. He was a positive person who made a difference in this student's life. Mahalo Ian.
