Dear Family of Lois (Hill) Strome
I was very sad to learn through a family e-mail that your mom had passed away in January. I kept in touch with your Mom over the years with Christmas card/letters. I must reiterate what my younger sister Lois has said - your mom was a wonderful person who always had time for a good visit. She had an infectious laugh and our Mom, Julie was always excited to have a long "girls" visit with her, while Jack and our dad talked about all the guy stuff.
My childhood nickname was "Kelly" and your mom was one of the few who continued to call me Kelly well into my adulthood. When she came to visit, our mom always said she was closer to Lois than her own sisters. Lois was a part of our family and she always treated us like we were her kids too. Praying that you will feel the comfort and love of our Heavenly Father as you hold wonderful memories of your mom close to your hearts.

I just heard Lois had passed and was so sorry to hear it. She was an amazing lady, and so uplifting to be around.
When I was a kid our families spent some time together, and my mom Julie thought of Lois as her best friend. I believe she was my namesake. My mom said she couldn’t wait to get together with Lois and “clack”, which was their term for girl talk. I have many happy memories of Lois, Jack, Rene, Gord, and Bryce. Danny came along later when I was older. We so looked forward to our visits with your family. I especially remember Bryce because I think we are the closest in age and we played a lot together.
I’m so sorry for the loss of your Mom. 💙. I hope Julie and Lois are sitting up in heaven “clacking”.
