From Winnipeg, Manitoba - As a friend we got to know Bill when he would come to Winnipeg to visit his mom Doris usually several times a year. He would attend to the "To Do" list that Doris had given him or head off to Kelsey's or Angela's place and give them a hand if he could possibly could. Building a fence for the girls dogs Ryder or Flax or helping his mom do things around the house. Or just taking time for himself and taking his camera and off he would go to find something interesting to capture with his camera. He was a son that every mother wishes that she could have or a friend that would come to their aid.
He will be missed by many, family and friends alike. He is not in pain any longer and will be thought of as a man that stood for his family, through good and bad times.
There is a 2nd obituary posted today in the Winnipeg Free Press.
Sincere condolences to family - Valerie & Paul Reuter

My dear cousin. We were always so good and patient with a tagalong girl cousin two years younger than you. Some of my best memories are at the farm, Grandma McGinnitys, in Alberta.
As we got older, coming to Winnipeg, you could drive the city everywhere, and you'd sneak me into socials when I wasn't eighteen yet.
I'm glad you persued your photography. I remember Grandpa's funeral in Banff and we went for a big hike after, and you were into taking pictures.
I'm so sad to know your not getting any older, like I am. I always miss you. Bye cousin.
