Marcel and I were good buddies. The Bouchards were our neighbors in Big River in the 40s and 50s.
I spent many hours at the Bouchard house and he at ours. I am very respectful of the family as they dealt with the tragedy of Mr. Bouchards accident. They were good people.
I kind of lost track of Marcel for a few years but was able to have an enjoyable connection with him
in Trail in the 90s and again just recently, last fall, by email. We were about the same age.
I remember Marcel as the goalkeeper for the local hockey team for a while.
Marcel was a kind and gentle man and a good friend, may he rest in peace.
