Uncle Roy was the best uncle anyone could ask for. He was always interested in what was happening in my life and he was always happy and positive. He would go out of his way for anyone - he even drove all the way to the Rogers Pass to rescue me when I was a teenager and my car broke down! It didn't matter who it was, Uncle Roy would have a great story to tell you and make you feel at ease. He was a great role model and I know that when many people think of him, the words "good man" come to mind. Even though I didn't see Uncle Roy as much as I would have liked to, he had a big impact on the person I am today and I thank him for that. He will be greatly missed and remembered with so much love and fondness. He has left us all with so many wonderful memories. Auntie Marlene, Suz, and Mike, and everyone else who loved him, I hope that these memories will give you all some peace in the days to come.

Marlene and family - our heart aches for you knowing how full of a life Roy had and shared with you and with others. We have many memories of our Cranbrook times with him and yourselves. Wishing you strength to manage the days ahead and peace as you get through the hardest times --
