Les was the son of Bessie & Clifford Lawrence formerly of Teslin, Yukon. Les was raised there with his 2 sister’s Margaret & Della. They were a family very involved in the sport of curling, Les’s Mom & Dad we’re both inducted into the Yukon Sports Hall of Fame. Les was very proud of them. Les, his sister Della and Parents moved south to Red Deer, Della a nurse for many years, Margaret has remained in the Territory she loves the Yukon. Les was predeceased by his Mom & Dad.
