My favourite Auntie enjoyed her 102 birthday in July. Sadly, she passed away this past Friday August 31. Esther always had time for me, while visiting the "farm" from the city. Every time I look at her I see my mother, her sister Alice (her face, mouth, voice and movements) . Thanks Esther for being a window to my mom all these years. You almost outlasted her by double the years! You have gone from Pioneer to Space Age, from horse drawn carriages to self driving vehicles; from the infamous "Party line" in rural Alberta, to the latest cellular service worldwide. Throughout it all you retained your humour and sense of devotion to family! Will love you and remember you always, and miss you lots! Your nephew,
