I got to know Dixie from my sister Wendy while both were working at the Granite Curling Club, Dixie as Manager, Wendy running the concession. My kids, as they got older got to know Dixie as well. I met her again years later while watching a game at Ellerslie. Dixie was still the same kind, caring person. We shall miss her.
