Joanne and I were deeply saddened to learn of Betty's passing. Betty was the daughter of my father's first cousin who, like us, lived in Lacolle, QC. While Betty no longer resided in Lacolle when I was growing up, I do well remember her and Paul's visits to the hometown. In later years, when we all lived in the Toronto area, we reconnected at family reunions and other social gatherings.
